Children's Seminar

Calgary Aikikai is excited to announce the addition of a children's session to our annual Winter Seminar. This special one hour session will be taught by Igarashi Sensei.

Scheduled for Friday, February 10th at 6:30pm.

This event is open to ages 6 through 13 and space is limited as a result we request that people register online with the form below.

Calgary Aikikai is honoured to welcome seventh dan Shihan Igarashi Sensei from Tokyo, Japan. This annual event will be held on February 10, 11 and 12 and will include basics and advanced aikido principles for all levels of students. Please join us for this exciting seminar.

Igarashi Sensei, 7th dan, began aikido in 1964 at the Meiji University Aikido Club under the instruction of Kobayashi Sensei. In 1973 he became one of the leading uchi-deshi at Kobayashi Dojos serving as a teaching assistant. In 1983 he established Aikido Igarashi Dojos in the Tokyo Kanagawa area where he regularly teaches at his own dojos as well as overseas in Europe, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Taiwan and Korea.
